Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Web Development Intern will support the design and development of a centralized, partner-facing digital platform used to track real estate and construction project portfolios. This role provides hands-on experience in website development, user interface design, and building functional, user-friendly systems within a healthcare environment.
Location: Remote
Schedule: Part-Time or Full-time (20-40 hours/week)
Duration: Summer or Fall Semester (based on candidate availability and start timing)
Position Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of a web-based platform for Health System partners to access project information.
- Translate business requirements into intuitive website structure, layout, and navigation.
- Support front-end development, including page layout, styling, and user interface enhancements.
- Help create dashboards and workflows that clearly display project status and key data.
- Organize and integrate existing project data into a centralized digital system.
- Collaborate on improving user experience (UX) and overall functionality of the platform.
- Assist in testing, troubleshooting, and refining the platform for usability and performance.
- Support ongoing updates, content organization, and system improvements.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Information Systems, UX/UI Design, or related field.
- Familiarity with website development concepts (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript or similar tools preferred).
- Interest in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to translate ideas into functional digital solutions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & SCHEDULE
- Fully remote position.
- Estimated 20–40 hours per week (flexible based on candidate availability).
- Internship duration aligned with summer timeline, with potential to extend.

SUPERVISION & SUPPORT
The intern will report directly to the hiring manager for day-to-day guidance and project direction, with overall oversight from senior leadership.
