About the Role: Data Engineer at Intuitech

Join Intuitech as an experienced Data Engineer to spearhead the development of our new Fraud Detection System. This critical role involves building the infrastructure necessary to deploy our Generative AI and Machine Learning models, making a direct impact in the banking environment.

Your Future Tasks:

• Plan and design advanced fraud detection systems specifically for the banking sector.
• Actively participate in generative AI research and development initiatives focused on fraud detection.
• Develop automated mechanisms for data cleansing, anomaly detection, and PII obfuscation to ensure strict GDPR compliance.
• Design and implement robust data ingestion systems, collecting data from diverse sources like RDBMS, NoSQL, and message queues in both batch and stream modes.
• Design and implement secure, high-performance APIs to expose model predictions to our banking clients.
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists to transition experimental models into production-ready code.

What We Expect From You:

• Strong motivation and enthusiasm to tackle new projects and a commitment to continuous professional development.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex project details to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in Python development.
• Experience with Docker and foundational container orchestration concepts.
• Practical experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in using SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with Python web frameworks (Flask, Django, or FastAPI).
• Proficiency in Hungarian for internal communication.
• Intermediate level English for engaging with international clients.

It’s a Big Plus if You Have:

• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and models.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of image processing frameworks like OpenCV.
• Familiarity with LLM frameworks (LangChain, OpenAI API, Hugging Face).
