Overview
Intuit QuickBooks is revolutionizing financial services for small businesses with its money movement platform. The Staff Fraud and Risk Analyst will work on the risk platform, converting high growth policies into action while collaborating across product, strategy, engineering, operations, and underwriting.
What you'll bring
You should have an MS/PhD in a relevant field (or a bachelor's with equivalent experience), 5+ years of work experience (or 8+ years with a bachelor's) along with rich experience in Java, SQL, Python, and familiarity with Splunk. Strong engineering fundamentals including version control (Git/Github) and a background in fraud, especially in payments/e-commerce, are essential. Excellent communication, ownership, independent project leadership, problem-solving skills, and a proven track record in data exploration and pipeline development are required. Experience with decision platforms (e.g., Camunda, Provenir, FICO Blaze) and data visualization tools like Tableau/Looker is a plus.
How you will lead
As part of the Fraud Policy team, you will design risk experiences, develop automated fraud risk policies, and lead high-scale risk projects. You will own the policy code pipeline and releases, implement decision tables/flows, code automated tests, and monitor quality controls. Coordination with global teams such as strategy, engineering, analytics, and data science is key, as is ensuring constant optimization of fraud controls. You will also manage the development of the enterprise risk platform, contribute to data architecture, and proactively propose improvements to deployment speed, safety, and reliability.
Compensation
Based in Bay Area, California, the Expected Base Pay Range is $172,000 to $232,500 alongside eligibility for cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.
