As a Staff Design Researcher on the Platform Experiences team, you will shape foundational systems, tools, and experiences to empower internal teams including developers, product managers, and designers.
Responsibilities
Deep Design Research Craft: Lead end-to-end qualitative and quantitative research; perform interviews, contextual inquiry, surveys, experimentation, and data analysis. Synthesize insights from multiple data sources and benchmark against best-in-class experiences. Provide clear frameworks, narratives, and strategic recommendations while managing numerous initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Strategic Leadership & Champion People: Act as a thought leader and mentor to raise research standards. Provide strong stakeholder and project management and articulate a clear point of view in leadership discussions. Champion experiment-driven, human-centered design to de-risk decisions.
Nice to have
Familiarity with technical or developer audiences. Working knowledge of behavioral science and its application to design strategies. Ability to coach teams on integrating behavioral insights into product roadmaps.
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of experience in leading professional research projects, preferably in technology. Experience with complex ecosystems and developer-facing experiences. Expertise in a range of mixed research methods, excellent storytelling skills, and comfort with ambiguity.
Intuit offers competitive compensation including cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits. The expected base pay range for this Bay Area, CA position is $179,500 to $243,000.
