You’ll work to develop Marketing Experiences across our owned channels that position our products as best-in-class, educate potential customers, and enable purchase. This Staff Content Designer, Brand & Marketing role is available in California locations and requires hybrid-in-person work in the office 3 days per week. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about content design, a collaborative team player, creative problem solver, strong communicator, and a constant advocate for the customer.

Responsibilities
- Gain product knowledge across our suite of offerings.
- Design meaningful and purpose-driven E2E experiences that inform and guide customers toward the right product for their business.
- Proactively seek new knowledge and connections with marketing partners.
- Participate in customer research and qualitative testing to inform meaningful customer experience design for the web and beyond.
- Partner closely with marketing stakeholders and visual designers to build benefit-driven storytelling that enables customers and prospects to make confident decisions.
- Transform complex financial jargon into conversational, approachable language.
- Craft web experiences, landing pages, emails, in-product messages, microcopy, and other project deliverables.
- Help our partners understand the QuickBooks voice and tone system—through examples, training, and review sessions.
- Collaborate effectively with other designers, content strategists, product managers, marketers, and researchers.
- Eagerly solicit feedback and contribute constructively to design reviews.
- Advance a strong point of view, backed up by personal expertise, design rationale, customer data, and industry trends.
- Go wide in exploration, then narrow to 2 or 3 based on experimentation and customer research.
- Lead and work on multiple projects at a time, using strong communication skills to manage time and expectations appropriately.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in content design, content strategy, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or another relevant field or equivalent experience (Master’s degree a plus but not required).
- Deep knowledge of design principles and methods.
- Curiosity and commitment to testing new ideas and innovating to drive business results.
- Effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your craft and collaborative process.
Compensation and Benefits
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. This position may be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs. Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. The expected base pay range for this position is:
- Bay Area California: $179,500 - $243,000
- Southern California: $173,000 - $234,000
