Intuit is a global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for millions by offering products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp. This role is a 12 month co-op position for an emerging Product Designer to drive design innovation for TurboTax’s core DIY product.
Job Overview
Be the design champion for TurboTax DIY; create end-to-end experiences that impact millions of consumers. You will help craft both design strategy and execution by collaborating across functions to build intuitive and scalable platform solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end design initiatives from concept to implementation.
- Collaborate with Design, Development, Product Management, Data, Service, and Marketing teams.
- Contribute to managing multiple projects through effective communication and prioritization.
- Participate in customer research to inform design decisions.
- Assist in prototyping and iterative testing of design concepts.
- Learn to drive design decisions through data collaboration with analytics teams.
- Embrace industry best practices and feedback sessions.
- Understand product impact and refine service blueprints for optimal customer experience.
- Develop skills in presenting design concepts to various stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Emerging portfolio demonstrating visual design and UX principles.
- Strong desire to learn the end-to-end product design process.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Basic understanding of user research methodologies.
- Curiosity in prototyping and iterative design testing.
- Strong communication skills.

Eligibility Requirements
This role is available for students actively enrolled in a post-secondary education program with a graduation date at least 4 months after the co-op ends. The candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship and available for a 12 month, 40 hours per week co-op term, with a minimum of 3 days onsite in Toronto.
Compensation
Competitive pay with rewards such as cash bonuses, equity, and benefits. The expected base pay in the Toronto/GTA area is $36-$46 per hour.
