About the Entry Level Data Engineer Role

Do you love solving puzzles, taming messy data, and building efficient data pipelines? At InterWorks, our Data Engineering team helps clients turn raw data into powerful insights.

What You Will Do

  • Support design and development of scalable data pipelines
  • Work with SQL, spreadsheets, APIs, and more
  • Apply data modeling principles for dashboards and data science
  • Assist with ETL/ELT processes and framework improvement
  • Document work and communicate clearly to varied audiences
  • Collaborate with teammates and clients to deliver solutions
  • Bring curiosity, adaptability, and a problem-solving mindset

What You Will Need

  • Basic SQL skills and enthusiasm to improve
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT workflows
  • Understanding of data modeling and various data formats
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to learn from experienced engineers

Bonus Skills

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with ETL tools like Matillion, Fivetran, or dbt
