Data Engineer - Entry Level

What You’ll Do

• Support design and development of modern, scalable data pipelines
• Work with various data sources like SQL, spreadsheets, and APIs
• Apply data modeling principles for dashboards and data science
• Assist with ETL/ELT processes to ensure quality and reliability
• Document work clearly and communicate ideas across audiences
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to deliver effective solutions
• Bring curiosity, adaptability, and a problem-solving mindset

What You’ll Need

Must-Haves: Basic SQL skills, familiarity with ETL/ELT workflows, understanding of data modeling, strong communication, detail-oriented approach, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.

Nice-to-Haves: Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), experience with ETL tools like Matillion, Fivetran, or dbt, familiarity with modern data warehouses, basic scripting (Python or similar), and curiosity about AI.

Location Preferences
