Regional Quality Manager
Intertek Canada is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to join our Building & Construction team. This position supports our Mississauga, Coquitlam, and Winnipeg laboratories and may offer remote work or work at one of our supported locations with required travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with clients and ensure exceptional customer service.
- Enforce safety requirements and company policies.
- Coordinate and maintain certifications and accreditations.
- Prepare and participate in accreditation audits and regulatory inspections.
- Plan and conduct audits of vendors and internal systems.
- Develop Quality metrics for process review and improvements.
- Conduct annual Quality training and mentoring for staff.
- Manage controlled documents and participate in proficiency testing.
- Coordinate personnel and equipment dispatch to meet project needs.
- Ensure maintenance and calibration of test equipment.
- Participate in industry organizations related to Quality.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s preferred.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in quality.
- 2-3 years of management experience preferred.
- Familiarity with 3rd party accreditations and auditing.
- ASQ Certifications preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and team building skills.
- Technical competence in interpreting test procedures and specifications.
- Understanding of equipment, test methods and regulatory standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and travel as required.
