Regional Quality Manager

Intertek Canada is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to join our Building & Construction team. This position supports our Mississauga, Coquitlam, and Winnipeg laboratories and may offer remote work or work at one of our supported locations with required travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with clients and ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Enforce safety requirements and company policies.
  • Coordinate and maintain certifications and accreditations.
  • Prepare and participate in accreditation audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Plan and conduct audits of vendors and internal systems.
  • Develop Quality metrics for process review and improvements.
  • Conduct annual Quality training and mentoring for staff.
  • Manage controlled documents and participate in proficiency testing.
  • Coordinate personnel and equipment dispatch to meet project needs.
  • Ensure maintenance and calibration of test equipment.
  • Participate in industry organizations related to Quality.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in quality.
  • 2-3 years of management experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with 3rd party accreditations and auditing.
  • ASQ Certifications preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and team building skills.
  • Technical competence in interpreting test procedures and specifications.
  • Understanding of equipment, test methods and regulatory standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and travel as required.
