About the Role

As a Project and Portfolio Finance Team Member on Intersect’s Capital Markets team, you will support the financing strategies behind large-scale clean energy projects. Working closely with lenders, investors, consultants, attorneys, and internal partners, you will be key in executing structured finance transactions such as non-recourse debt, tax equity, portfolio financings, and hybrid facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Transaction Modeling: Develop financial models for construction loans, tax equity, and hybrid structures.
  • Drive Due Diligence & Execution: Coordinate due diligence across multiple stakeholders and review vital project contracts and reports.
  • Support Ongoing Financing: Manage existing financing structures, track performance, and partner with other teams on budgeting and forecasting.
  • Shape Strategic Decisions: Run sensitivity analysis and contribute to portfolio valuations and resource allocation.
  • Explore New Opportunities: Participate in special projects including M&A and market entry assessments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, statistics or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in clean power & utilities or infrastructure capital markets.
  • Expert proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (including VBA macros).
  • Experience with U.S. tax equity transactions is strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex financial concepts.

Total Rewards

Compensation ranges from $121,000 to $128,000 including base salary and bonus in USD. Additional benefits include full premium medical coverage, unlimited PTO with company breaks, substantial parental leave, retirement contributions, monthly stipends, pet insurance, and full home office setups.
