About the Role

At Intersect, as a Project and Portfolio Finance Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering financing strategies for large-scale clean energy projects. Working with a team that supports a variety of non-recourse debt, tax equity, portfolio financings, and hybrid facilities, you will collaborate with lenders, investors, consultants, attorneys, and internal partners to enable Intersect’s growth and impact.

Team Overview

The Capital Markets team at Intersect raises the capital fueling expansion, supporting every aspect of the business from Development to Trading. This role provides an opportunity to build deep financial expertise while driving the clean energy transition.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Transaction Modeling: Own financial modeling for project financings including construction loans and tax equity.
  • Drive Due Diligence & Execution: Coordinate and review due diligence processes with multiple stakeholders.
  • Support Ongoing Financing: Manage and report on existing financing structures.
  • Shape Strategic Decisions: Conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis to guide resource allocation.
  • Explore New Opportunities: Engage in special projects such as M&A and market assessments.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, statistics or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4+ years in clean power & utilities or infrastructure capital markets.
  • Expert proficiency in Excel including VBA macros and strong financial modeling skills.
  • Experience with U.S. tax equity transactions highly preferred.
  • Ability to manage complex processes with multiple stakeholders.
