About This Role

As a Project and Portfolio Finance Team Member in Intersect’s Capital Markets team, you will help deliver financing strategies for large-scale clean energy projects. Your responsibilities include supporting structured finance transactions such as non-recourse debt, tax equity, portfolio financings, and hybrid facilities. You will work closely with lenders, investors, consultants, attorneys, and internal partners.

Team Overview

The Capital Markets team raises the funds that drive Intersect’s expansion. With expertise in tax equity, construction debt, back-leverage, corporate debt, and innovative financing structures, the team supports various departments including Development, Construction, Operations, Engineering, Originations, and Trading.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Transaction Modeling: Own financial modeling for project financings and fundings.
  • Drive Due Diligence & Execution: Coordinate due diligence and review key contracts and reports.
  • Support Ongoing Financing: Manage financing structures and track performance post-closing.
  • Shape Strategic Decisions: Run sensitivity and scenario analyses for strategic decisions.
  • Explore New Opportunities: Participate in special projects like M&A and market assessments.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in clean power & utilities or infrastructure capital markets.
  • Strong financial modeling skills; expert in Excel with VBA macros.
  • Experience with U.S. tax equity transactions is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage complex processes with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.
  • Collaborative approach and strong communication skills.

Total Rewards

Compensation: $121,000 to $128,000 with bonus. Additional benefits include full premium health coverage, unlimited PTO with company-wide breaks, generous parental leave, mental health support, retirement contributions, monthly food stipend, pet insurance, and a full home office setup.
