Role Overview

As a Project and Portfolio Finance Team Member in Intersect’s Capital Markets team, you will drive financing strategies for large-scale clean energy projects. Your role involves executing structured finance transactions including non-recourse debt, tax equity, portfolio financings, and hybrid facilities while collaborating with lenders, investors, consultants, attorneys, and internal teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Transaction Modeling: Own and build robust financial models for various financing structures.
  • Drive Due Diligence & Execution: Coordinate due diligence across multiple stakeholders.
  • Support Ongoing Financing: Manage and report on performance of active financings.
  • Shape Strategic Decisions: Run sensitivity analysis and contribute to portfolio valuations.
  • Explore New Opportunities: Participate in projects like M&A and market assessments.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, statistics, or equivalent.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in clean power & utilities or infrastructure capital markets.
  • Expert financial modeling skills with advanced Excel and VBA proficiency.
  • Experience with U.S. tax equity transactions preferred; familiarity with tax-advantaged transactions a plus.
  • Ability to manage complex processes with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Total Rewards

Compensation ranges from $121,000 to $128,000 including base and bonus in USD.
