About the Role
As a Civil Development Engineer at Intersect, you will guide the civil design of clean energy projects from early-stage due diligence through Issued for Construction, with a focus on wind projects. The Development Engineering team at Intersect serves as the civil engineering experts for clean energy projects, managing design from feasibility to construction and collaborating with internal departments and external consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Civil & Structural Design: Lead reviews, conduct cost engineering, and manage surveys.
- Optimize Site Layouts: Own site maps and optimize layouts using geospatial tools.
- Support Project Development: Conduct early-stage due diligence and integrate designs with multidisciplinary teams.
- Collaborate Across Stakeholders: Coordinate with internal teams and manage external partners.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years experience in energy layout design; wind project experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of civil design principles and technical diligence processes.
