Infrastructure Analyst

As an Infrastructure Analyst, under the responsibility of the Head of Department Infrastructure, you will ensure the smooth operation, administration, and evolution of all systems, servers, networks, and components of INTERPOL's IT infrastructure in accordance with established service level agreements (SLAs).
The systems concerned are hosted within the Organization's data centers at the Headquarters and on remote sites (Regional Bureaus and National Central Bureaus).
Primary Duties
DUTY 1: Infrastructure Operations
- Using Site Reliability Engineering principles and practices, implement procedures, playbooks, and automated tasks to proactively manage our private cloud.
- Troubleshoot the systems infrastructure including hardware, virtualization, and storage infrastructure and make corrective actions when necessary.
- Provide technical guidance to technicians to ensure the smooth operation of our private cloud.
DUTY 2: Infrastructure Improvements
- In collaboration with the Infrastructure Architects, work on our annual roadmap projects, their definition, and implementation to ensure continuous improvement of our Infrastructure.
- Implement new systems including hardware and software, with the contribution from Infrastructure technicians, for our production environments. Including the testing and validation prior to deployment.
- Following Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management principles, manage the automation tools used to oversee the complete lifecycle of our IT environment.
- Write codes to reduce toil and remove repetitive tasks, ensuring these are available to all team members using collaborative platforms.
- Participate in feasibility studies for new initiatives and with supervision, write the technical specifications for RFPs.
DUTY 3: Infrastructure Support
- Provide level 2 and level 3 infrastructure support.
- Take ownership for the resolution of incidents in production.
- Prioritize and respond to Service Desk tickets as appropriate, provide timely response to escalations in accordance with defined SLAs.
- Ensure all relevant documents exist and standard operating procedures are available and up to date.
- Could participate in 24x7 on-call duty rotation.
Perform any other duties as required by the supervisor.
Requirements
Training/Education Required
Three-to-four years’ education at a University or other specialized higher education establishment.
Experience Required
At least 3 years’ experience building, configuring and managing enterprise infrastructure with a focus on end user environments, virtual desktop solutions and mobile device management solutions.
Ten years’ experience in the area is required if the post holder does not have the required level of education.
Languages
Working knowledge of English is required. Fluency in English is highly desirable. Proficiency in a second official languages of the Organization (Arabic, French or Spanish) would be an additional asset.

- Hands-on experience managing and securing mobile devices and applications using Microsoft Intune.
- Hands-on expertise administering SharePoint Online, including experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
- Hands-on expertise managing Exchange Server and Exchange Online.

- Hands-on expertise with Hybrid environments (On-prem + Infrastructure).

- Hands-on expertise managing Windows Server operating systems and environments.
Cybersecurity
- Hands-on expertise managing and securing networks, identities, and workloads using Microsoft XDR.
- Experience with data protection and compliance management, especially with MS Purview.
