Position Overview

The Materials Planner plans, schedules, and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle. This role determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering teams.

Additionally, the Materials Planner develops specifications for new contract orders and is responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity. They create and maintain bills of material and parts/commodity numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise-wide systems.

Minimum & Additional Requirements

A candidate should have either a Bachelor's degree or at least 2 years of shop order planning and purchasing experience. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
