Through the Resettlement, Asylum, and Integration (RAI) department, the IRC provides vital services to more than 100,000 individuals yearly, focusing on health, safety, economic wellbeing, education, and empowerment.
Scope Of Work
The Home Study and Post-Release Services (HSPRS) project for unaccompanied children operates from over 17 offices in the U.S. on a national, multi-million-dollar contract through September 30, 2026. The Roving Crisis Case Manager conducts home studies to assess sponsor suitability and provides post-release services ensuring the child’s safety, stability, and access to necessary resources.
- Conduct initial in-home assessments and weekly contacts.
- Develop individualized, trauma-informed service plans.
- Engage with multiple stakeholders and document findings timely.
- Provide crisis intervention and referrals to community services.
- Maintain detailed records and comply with confidentiality requirements.
Job Requirements
Candidates should hold a Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or similar behavioral science, and be fluent in Spanish and English. Applicants require a minimum of two years’ experience in case management and at least one year of experience with child welfare or related areas. Experience with immigrant populations, unaccompanied minors, and navigating the social services system is crucial. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom and ready to travel up to 80% of the time.
