Overview
At International Paper, the Material Handler/Shipping role gives you the opportunity to make a difference. You will work in a fast-paced environment, operating forklifts and utilizing portable scanners to support production, warehousing, shipping, and receiving operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklift trucks for loading, unloading, and moving goods.
- Utilize scanner systems for inventory tracking and quality control.
- Maintain production and shipping productivity while meeting safety standards.
- Keep work areas clean and follow operational procedures.
- Perform tasks as directed by plant supervision.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Advanced forklift certification and operational knowledge.
- Experience using portable scanners.
- Ability to work 40+ hours per week with occasional overtime.
- Physical capacity to lift up to 50lbs and maintain flexibility.
- Strong safety, attendance, and presentation record.
