Overview

The Human Resources Business Partner role at International Monetary Fund supports the design and implementation of departmental HR strategy. The role involves ensuring the consistent application of the Fund's HR policies and practices in collaboration with HRD colleagues, client departments, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with departmental managers to develop staffing strategies with diversity objectives in mind.
  • Guide recruitment, career development, performance management and succession planning.
  • Provide coaching and advice for career management and training opportunities.
  • Implement performance management tools and assist in talent review exercises.
  • Support HR Analytics and handle Workday transactions, providing data/reporting support.
  • Coordinate with a shared HR Project Analyst to ensure HR systems functionality.
  • Stay current with new policy developments and ensure their consistent application.
  • Assist in the execution of Fund-wide programs (e.g., EP, FIP, SAP, EFA, mid-career recruitment, etc.).
  • Other duties as assigned by the direct manager.

Qualifications and Skills

A master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, psychology or related discipline plus a minimum of four years of professional HR experience, or a bachelor’s degree plus 10 years of relevant work experience is required. The ideal candidate has strong HR proficiency across recruitment, rewards, workforce planning, career development, talent management, excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational, communication, and presentation abilities, and high proficiency in HR analytics along with hands-on experience with PeopleSoft and Workday.
