Data Scientist Intern - Proactive Care at Intermountain Health

As a Data Scientist Intern, you will work as a member of the Enterprise AI Center of Enablement to develop AI products that will create impact for the communities and patients we serve.
Please note that a video interview through Microsoft Teams will be required as well as potential onsite interviews and meetings.

Job Essentials
This role helps develop AI and ML solutions as part of the Enterprise AI Center of Enablement. This is a remote internship. Incumbent will work Monday-Friday, during regular business hours.

Minimum Qualifications
- Understanding of statistical and machine learning modeling techniques
- Experience programming using quantitative, procedural, and statistical programming languages such as Python, SQL, Spark, and Matlab.
- Experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Enrolled in a higher education institution with a focus on mathematics, computer science, data science, or other quantitative and technical field.

Work Details
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Compensation
The hourly range for this position is $21.49 - $31.73. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
