As part of an award-winning team, the General Liability and Auto Claims Adjuster III will investigate, evaluate, and adjust general and auto liability claims.
Primary Responsibilities
The claims adjuster is responsible for:
- Investigating and analyzing personal, casualty, and property claims.
- Corresponding with medical specialists, agents, and claimants.
- Calculating benefit payments and approving claims within limits.
- Inspecting property, gathering evidence, and reviewing policy details.
- Managing case records in SIMS and/or Renaissance systems.
- Supporting litigation management by collating evidence for court.
Requirements
Candidates should have:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- At least three years of claims experience in insurance or related fields.
- Experience using Microsoft applications and video conferencing tools such as Teams and Zoom.
- Experience with claims management software or ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
