Role Overview
The Business Information Security Officer for the Asia-Pacific region acts as the delegate of the IBKR Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to support IBKR affiliates and branches in APAC countries. The role ensures that IBKR Group security policies are implemented in alignment with regional laws, regulations, and client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update information security policies for APAC affiliates.
- Incorporate regulatory cybersecurity requirements into policies.
- Facilitate implementation and monitor compliance of security standards.
- Maintain a security risk register and track remediation activities.
- Serve as cybersecurity liaison with regulators, auditors, and stakeholders.
- Advise regional executive management and boards on cybersecurity matters.
- Support internal and external cybersecurity audits and assessments.
- Contribute to group-level security initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Information Security.
- Experience with global, highly regulated financial industries.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and technologies.
- Knowledge of relevant cybersecurity and data protection regulations.
- Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO/IEC 27001, and CIS CSC.
- Experience in application development, network engineering, system administration, or database management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
