Role Overview

The Analyst - API Support at Interactive Brokers will join the API support team to assist clients developing and troubleshooting API applications used for algorithmic trading and integration with third-party software.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide written support to clients for API application development and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in integrating API applications with third-party software such as charting platforms.
  • Support third-party institutions in connecting their applications with IBKR systems.
  • Build and maintain a resource library including code snippets and documentation.
  • Develop test programs using the IB API as reference implementations.
  • Contribute to internal development with custom tools for Client Service.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 1+ years of programming experience in Java and Python; C# and C++ knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Linux Terminal, Windows command line tools, and Git workflows.
  • Strong understanding of REST API architecture.
  • Excellent written communication for client support via email and online chat.
  • Fast learner with a proactive and analytical mindset.
  • Strong communication in English; additional European language is an advantage.
