Overview

As a Test Automation Senior Specialist, you will join a community of creative thinkers and technical experts working on innovative, real-time monetary solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform automation testing functions for Interac products and services
  • Review functional and design specifications to ensure test readiness
  • Design and document the Integration Automation Framework and best practices
  • Enhance automation test strategy for microservices and end-to-end processes
  • Define, collect, and validate automation metrics to monitor testing efficiency
  • Develop non-functional automation tests for service interactions and components

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Over 5 years of experience in software development and automation testing
  • Proficiency in creating, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts for mobile applications
  • Experience with NUnit or JUnit and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of C#, JavaScript and Selenium WebDriver
  • API testing experience using POST man or similar tools
  • Understanding of web applications, APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and load testing with JMeter
  • Familiarity with Git/Stash, Jenkins, Bamboo, and microservices architecture
  • Agile methodology experience; Kanban is a plus
  • Eligibility to work in Canada on a full-time basis
