Role Overview: Business Analyst Intern

This internship offers an opportunity to work cross-functionally with Technology and Finance teams. You will provide insights, perform data gathering, financial and IT analysis, and support technology investments with creative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in ad-hoc data gathering, financial/IT analysis, and cost modeling.
  • Write business cases and ROI justifications for technology investments.
  • Manage technology projects by updating stakeholders and clarifying financial/technology impacts.
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Support budgeting and planning for technology initiatives.
  • Partner with stakeholders to analyze KPIs and drive business decisions.
  • Implement business solutions in collaboration with Technology and Finance teams.
  • Facilitate workshops and support project activities.
  • Work closely with Technology teams to understand business requirements and develop new services and pricing models.

Qualifications

  • Currently completing an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, BTM, Accounting, Economics or related field.
  • Interest in information technology and business with an appetite for staying updated with industry trends.
  • Self-starter with a drive for continuous learning and problem solving.
  • Strong critical thinking, detail orientation, and communication skills.
  • Experience with data visualization, report generation, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with tools like Apptio is a plus.

Workstyle & Location

This internship is hybrid (3 days on-site) and located in Toronto. The term is from January to April 2026, Monday to Friday.
