Position Summary

The Business Analyst - Tool Consolidation at IntePros is tasked with supporting a tool rationalization initiative. The role serves as a liaison between IT and various business lines, focusing on identifying redundancies, gathering user needs, and documenting requirements as technology platforms are consolidated across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand tool usage and pain points
  • Identify overlapping or redundant technologies across systems
  • Document current-state usage, requirements, and impacts
  • Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with IT and business teams
  • Write detailed user stories, use cases, and process flows
  • Maintain a stakeholder register and engagement log
  • Present findings and tool consolidation options to decision-makers
  • Collaborate with project managers, solution architects, and department heads
  • Ensure all documentation is structured and accessible via standard BA tools

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years in a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst role with strong skills in requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement. Must have experience writing user stories and process documentation while managing multiple workstreams. Familiarity with collaboration and productivity tools like Microsoft 365, Zoom, and Slack is important.

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications

  • Experience in credit union or financial services environment
  • Knowledge of tool rationalization, SaaS assessments or application portfolio management
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart, or similar tools
  • Additional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or CSPO are advantageous
