Job Overview

The Software Engineering Manager at Intel Corporation is responsible for AI solution build and customer enablement with Intel CPU and AI accelerator products including Xeon, Client/edge platform, Gaudi AI accelerator, ARC dGPU, among others. The role targets customers such as OXM, ISV/SI, CSPs, and large vertical end-users.

Responsibilities

  • Directs and manages a team of AI software engineers and architects.
  • Oversees development, validation, debug, optimization, and product support.
  • Collaborates with BU teams, SMG sales, and FAE/ITS to pursue business opportunities.
  • Enables teams through clear goal setting, accountability, and performance management.
  • Inspires team members while role modeling Intel values and ensuring productivity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field.
  • 10+ years in software development and 5+ years managing engineering teams.
  • Expertise in x86 data center/edge/client platforms and AI solutions.
  • Proven ability to lead through all stages of the platform development lifecycle.
  • Strong strategic leadership and communication skills to engage stakeholders.

Additional Information

This role is part of the Sales and Marketing Group (SMG), supporting strategic initiatives, sales enablement, and market expansion. It requires an on-site presence in Beijing, PRC, and observes Shift 1 (China).
