Overview
The Software Engineering Manager at Intel Corporation will lead a team responsible for developing Linux drivers and technologies for Intel's Graphics/Compute products. This role is integral in driving open-source software reliability, accessibility, security, and performance.
Team Leadership and Management

Technical Leadership
Drive technical strategy and roadmap for open-source KMD/DRM development initiatives. Oversee testing and validation of memory management modules and GPU software integration.
- Guide testing for memory management modules
- Approve technical designs and architectural decisions
- Oversee pre- and post-silicon qualification efforts
Stakeholder and Strategic Management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage relationships with open-source community stakeholders. Plan projects, allocate resources, and mitigate technical risks.
- Coordinate with cross-site organizations
- Develop objectives aligned with organizational goals
- Drive continuous improvement in processes
Qualifications & Technical Expertise
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field, 15+ years in software product development, and extensive experience in C programming and Linux kernel development. Deep expertise in DRM/KMD driver development, GPU architecture, and the UALink open specification is required.
Additional Information
The role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and experience managing cross-geo teams. It is positioned within a hybrid work model with work split between on-site and off-site locations.
