Position Overview:
As a member of the silicon engineering division of the NEX Group, you will be involved in the digital design of advanced Cryptographic, Ethernet, and Packet Processing solutions. This role demands extensive RTL development experience along with technical leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Architecture, DFx, Software, Firmware, and Post-Silicon Validation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop micro-architectural specifications of complex design blocks
- Implement complex digital designs using RTL coding techniques
- Collaborate with pre-Silicon validation engineers on test development
- Support Physical Design team in Synthesis, Formal Verification, and Timing Convergence
- Work closely with Architecture, DFx, Software, Firmware, and Post-Silicon Validation teams
Qualifications:
A minimum of an Honours degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent is required.
Required Experience:
- 6+ years of RTL Digital IC Design experience using System Verilog and/or Verilog
- ASIC, SoC, or FPGA design expertise
- Proven track record of project delivery
- Self-starter with leadership ability
- Experience with industry-standard development tools
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with C/C++, SystemC, OVM/UVM, SVAs, Perl, Shell scripting
- Familiarity with Synthesis, Formal Verification, DFT, VCS, PrimeTime, Design Compiler, Jasper (FPV)
Location:
This position is primarily based in Leixlip, Ireland, with remote and hybrid work options available.
