About the Role

Intel Corporation's Government Information Technology and Security (GITS) organization is seeking an Information Security System Officer to ensure secure solutions and compliance for U.S. Government contracts. As part of the Agile team, you will oversee security postures, develop RMF documentation, and maintain key security artifacts to support system authorization.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee security posture and develop RMF documentation.
  • Create and update standard RMF artifacts like SSPs, POAMs, and SCTMs.
  • Implement security policies in line with ICD-503, JSIG, NIST 800-53, and other guidelines.
  • Collaborate with system administrators and network engineers for patch management.
  • Participate in Change Control Board for configuration management.
  • Perform vulnerability and risk assessments for continuous monitoring.

Qualifications

Applicants must be U.S. citizens with the ability to obtain an active Top Secret/SCI clearance. A bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience (or 8+ years with a High School Diploma) is required, along with certifications such as Security+ CE, CISSP, or similar. Experience with NIST RMF, STIGs, and maintaining system security documentation is essential.

Work Environment

This is an on-site role based in Phoenix, Arizona. Minimal travel is required.
