Job Summary

The Account Executive drives new business by identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities within a defined territory and vertical. This role requires a consultative sales approach, deep understanding of complex technology solutions, and full cycle sales management from lead generation to contract execution. The Account Executive collaborates closely with Client Experience, Marketing, and Service Delivery teams to deliver tailored solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline through outbound prospecting and referrals.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand business challenges and technical needs.
  • Qualify prospects using budget, authority, need, and timing frameworks.
  • Develop and present proposals including ROI models and solution overviews.
  • Partner with internal teams to scope and price tailored solutions.
  • Manage the complete sales process with consistent follow-up and clear next steps.
  • Accurately track all sales activities in CRM platforms like ConnectWise.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales quotas and KPIs.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and sales reviews.
  • Stay current on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.

Senior Account Executive - Additional Responsibilities

  • Manage high-value, strategic, and complex sales opportunities autonomously.
  • Act as a sales team leader and mentor to junior Account Executives.
  • Drive territory planning, revenue forecasting, and sales strategy with senior leadership.
  • Engage executive-level stakeholders as a subject matter expert.
  • Lead go-to-market strategies for new service offerings and verticals.
  • Provide valuable feedback to inform product and service enhancements.
  • Represent the sales organization in cross-functional meetings.
  • Develop and scale sales best practices, processes, and tools.

Job Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Experience: 2+ years in B2B sales (MSP, SaaS, IT services preferred) for Account Executive role; for Senior Account Executive, 5+ years in B2B sales and 3+ years in a strategic sales role.
