INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Design & Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in advancing Process Automation Solutions across industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Utilities, and Renewable Energy. What You’ll Lead And Deliver
- Design and implement hardware for specialized control systems, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), and Fire & Gas Systems (FGS).
- Ensure adherence to major industrial standards and apply a conceptual understanding of these standards throughout project phases.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of major instrumentation used in the industry, including clarity on working principles and system functionality.
- Analyze and interpret customer specifications, including Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Cause & Effect Diagrams (C&Es), drawings, narratives, and philosophies to gather necessary project information.
- Support industrial network architecture and cybersecurity implementation including access control, network segmentation, system hardening, and data integrity measures.
- Prepare, review, and maintain engineering documentation including Functional Design Specifications (FDS), FAT/SAT procedures, system manuals, and related technical documents.
- Participate in factory and site activities including FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, system modifications, training, and final handover.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, company procedures, and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- 2 - 3 years of work experience in Industrial Automation & Controls (Yokogawa Preferred).
- Proven experience in hardware design for specialized control systems, including DCS, SIS, and FGS.
- Experience with wellhead control panels, skids, and solar systems is preferred.
- Strong understanding of industrial standards, instrumentation, and control system principles.
- Experience with system testing, FAT, and site work, including commissioning and startup.
- Hands-on Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret and discuss technical information.
