Overview

The Senior Manager, Operations will lead the operational strategy and execution for our globally dispersed assessment content team, ensuring efficiency and scalability of our processes while fostering a culture of collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Budget Management: Manage comprehensive operational budgets, identify strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Process Optimization: Drive process improvement initiatives, analyze workflows using Asana and Jira, and implement best practices.
  • Team & Talent Development: Build, coach, and inspire an international operations team, including managing contractor relationships.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as liaison between operations and other departments, ensuring alignment with product, engineering, and sales teams.
  • Risk & Project Management: Identify, track, and resolve operational risks, and deliver executive-facing communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management or related field; PMP preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years management experience with a strong track record in high-impact team building.
  • Expertise in budget management, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Proven ability in process improvement and strategic problem-solving.
  • Experience in the education or ed-tech industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
