Job Description
The Institute of Mental Health (IMH) is seeking enthusiastic Data Science Interns with a background in data analytics, eager to contribute to the field of mental healthcare. Successful candidates will have a unique opportunity to collaborate with an experienced team of data analysts and biostatisticians, enhancing insights derived from clinical databases. This includes leveraging Large Language Models (LLM) to harness unstructured datasets and working with clinicians and management to develop impactful dashboards.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of hackathons, including organizing, facilitating, and supporting data analysis tasks.
- Explore methods for analyzing historical medical data to uncover valuable patterns.
- Explore and develop innovative data-centric and data-driven solutions by leveraging generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Develop interactive dashboards and predictive models based on extensive past medical data.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties that may arise to support the Data Science Office.
Requirements
Educational and Professional Requirements
- Academic background in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Sciences, or Engineering.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python is necessary.
