AI Engineer, Health at Institut Curie

We are looking for an AI Engineer to join our team dedicated to structuring medical data and innovating in natural language processing (NLP). You will work within the Data Factory of the Data Directorate, a stimulating environment where health data plays a central role in supporting cancer research projects.

Missions

• Develop and maintain NLP pipelines to structure medical data.
• Contribute to the entire lifecycle of algorithms: problem definition, model training and evaluation, and production maintenance.
• Participate in the construction of our health data warehouse architecture.
• Collaborate with scientific teams and partners to support research projects.
• Write functional and technical documentation.

Profile

• Master's degree (BAC + 5) from an engineering school or a master's in computer science / data / AI specialization.
• 3 to 5 years minimum of experience in the Data Science field.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Python and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elastic, Mongo).
• Experience with DevOps ecosystems: Docker, Gitlab, Kubernetes.
• Expertise in NLP, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning (libraries like Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, HuggingFace).
• Knowledge of pipeline orchestration systems (Apache Airflow, Kubeflow, MLFlow).
• Good understanding of the challenges related to medical data and AI environments.
