Your Responsibilities as an Application Engineer Output Management Systems

• You are responsible for the implementation, configuration, and management of specialized applications and services in the area of document creation and document management for digital full-color printing and electronic output channels within a Linux system environment.
• You automate and optimize routine tasks, operational activities, and associated document management processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• You create technical/test concepts, process descriptions, as well as architecture and system documentation that support a smooth development process and operations.
• You are responsible for the deployment and operation of applications/components/subsystems in the Output Management System, including incident and problem management.
• You analyze metadata, common databases, and log files to gain valuable insights and improve processing.

What You Bring to the Table

• You have a completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification as an IT specialist with several years of professional experience, or a comparable qualification in document management.
• You have good knowledge of application configurations under Linux and common databases, as well as scripting languages (e.g., Python).
• You have profound knowledge of common data formats and production processes in the context of digital printing and output management.
• You are willing to independently acquire new topics and are characterized by high analytical competence. Your independent and structured way of working, combined with high team and cooperation skills, completes your profile.
