Software Engineering Manager Single Retailer Experience

The Role

As the Software Engineering Manager Single Retailer Experience, you will lead a team of 10+ engineers to deliver high-visibility features like Nutrition Scores, enriched Product Description Pages, allergen and dietary safety indicators, and healthier alternatives. You will partner with Product, Design, Data Science, and adjacent teams to ship thoughtful consumer features and scalable platform capabilities.

• Lead, develop, and retain a team of software engineers.
• Own multi-quarter roadmaps with measurable product impact.
• Engage in technical execution, architectural decisions, and SLO definitions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for rapid experimentation.
• Manage inbound requests and clearly sequence complex programs.

About You

You should have 8+ years of professional software engineering experience (with 2+ years managing teams), proven track record in full-stack consumer facing products, and deep expertise in service-oriented architectures and API design. You bring leadership in building high performance and inclusive teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern AI developer tools.
• Familiarity with iOS, Android, and modern web frameworks.
• Technical proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Python, Golang, Postgres, Redis, AWS.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field is a plus.
