The Software Engineering Manager, Ads Manager role leads two core teams, Ads Enrichment and Ads Activation, responsible for campaign management UI, optimization workflows, reporting, advertiser onboarding, and brand presence tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead two Ads Manager teams totaling 15 engineers.
- Own strategy, roadmap, and execution for a web-based product portfolio.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and various engineering teams.
- Drive engineering excellence in code quality, testing, CI/CD, and reliability.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent while fostering an inclusive team culture.
- Work with analytics to ensure accurate and privacy-conscious reporting.
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and data governance standards.
- Communicate progress and risks to stakeholders and leadership.
About You
You should have 8+ years in software engineering with expertise in large-scale web applications and 3+ years in engineering management. Experience with B2B products, modern web stacks (React, Go, Java, Python), testing methodologies, and managing cross-functional teams is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in ads technology, retail media, or marketing platforms.
- Knowledge of experimentation systems like A/B testing and ML-driven recommendations.
- Proven history of scaling teams and managing evolving organizational structures.
- Ability to navigate fast-changing priorities with a focus on customer success.
