About the Role
As the Senior Product Manager Invoicing Platform, you will own the vision and roadmap for Instacart's mission-critical invoicing system that powers over 90% of orders and billions in transactions annually. You will shape how invoicing data is presented across various customer touchpoints such as checkout, order status, and receipts, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and trust.
- Own the vision and roadmap for a critical platform.
- Enhance customer experience for displaying totals and fees.
- Partner across Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Compliance, and Retail teams.
- Drive compliance and accuracy in tax and regulatory requirements.
- Lead a cross-functional team to build scalable systems.
About the Team
The Invoicing Platform team sits at the heart of Instacart’s Platform organization. The team is responsible for a system that handles the vast majority of orders and transactions each year. The culture here emphasizes clarity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
About You
You bring over 5 years of product management experience, preferably in high-scale platforms such as financial, billing, or invoicing systems. You are technically fluent, strategic, and capable of bridging complex technical domains with impactful business outcomes. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in fast-paced e-commerce, fintech, or startup environments is a plus. Familiarity with APIs, modern platform design principles, data models, and regulatory compliance in financial systems will strengthen your candidacy.
Compensation & Benefits
Instacart offers competitive compensation, benefits, and equity grants. For Canadian-based candidates, the base pay range is between $158,000 and $175,000 CAD. This role is remote, available to candidates in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Nova Scotia.
