Overview
The Associate Culinary Innovation Manager supports the Culinary Development Team’s workstreams by executing product preparation and kitchen testing. This role is responsible for planning and delivering product development food showings, special events, internal and external meetings, and taste panels.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide project support for the Culinary Development Team.
- Conduct organoleptic evaluations of test and production samples.
- Assist in executing product presentations for key stakeholders.
- Plan, execute, and share insights from analytical studies.
- Manage BWW’s test kitchen inventory and storage areas.
- Coordinate and manage all internal and external product showings and special events.
- Oversee labor organization and team execution during events.
- Train event staff and culinary team members for specialized tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product innovation and commercialization.
- Conduct consumer research and work with vendors on new product development.
Education and Experience
Concentration in Culinary Arts, Food Science, or related discipline with 3+ years of relevant experience from restaurant culinary, operations, food manufacturing, or food laboratory settings.
