Job Description
Based within a 30-minute commuting distance of the designated market, the Field Marketing Manager is responsible for growing and nurturing strategic partnerships with fitness and performance communities including gyms, recreation centers, running clubs, and outdoor lifestyle groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Training: Co-recruit, onboard, and manage a part-time Brand Ambassador team, oversee daily scheduling, performance coaching, and in-field quality assurance.
- Field Execution & Oversight: Oversee grassroots, community-based activations, ensure high-quality field delivery, monitor KPIs, capture performance data and share insights with internal stakeholders.
- Market Development & Partnerships: Build and maintain strong local relationships, identify growth opportunities, conduct audits, and provide competitive intelligence.
- Operational Continuity: Serve as the in-market lead, manage assets, logistics, recruitment, and reporting.
Additional Requirements
Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and pass a driving record background check. The role involves physical activities and lifting up to 50 pounds. Travel up to 50% and work weekends/holidays as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- 4-6 years professional experience with at least 2-3 years in sales.
- Fitness/health and wellness industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong budget management skills.
