Professor of Clinical & Interventional Cardiology

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (COM) is seeking a full-time Interventional Cardiologist for its Division of Cardiovascular Health and Disease. Job Overview

The Division of Cardiovascular Health and Disease offers a position for an Interventional Cardiologist. Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience and academic credentials. The role involves a combination of outpatient clinics, inpatient cardiology services, interventional catheterization lab operations, and interventional call, including STEMI coverage. There may also be opportunities to supervise the Interventional Fellowship Clinic and engage in educational, quality improvement, safety, and research initiatives.

Essential Functions

  • Conduct outpatient clinics at a UC Health outpatient facility.
  • Provide cardiology inpatient services at UCMC and/or WCH, including consults, CVICU, or general cardiology.
  • Operate as an Interventional Cardiologist in the Catheterization Labs at UCMC or WCH.
  • Participate in interventional call, including STEMI coverage.
  • Potentially rotate as supervising attending at the Interventional Fellowship Clinic.
  • Actively engage in education and training missions.
  • Participate in quality improvement, safety, and research projects.

Minimum Requirements

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO).
  • Completion of a 4-year residency in Internal Medicine.
  • Completion of a 3-year fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease.
  • Completion of a 1-year fellowship in Interventional Cardiology.
  • Valid Ohio State Medical License and DEA license.
