Position Summary
The Bus Operator role involves the safe operation of buses on campus routes and for occasional charters. Responsibilities include completing associated paperwork, adhering to written and verbal instructions from supervisory personnel, and periodically assisting with bus washing and other non-driving tasks. Candidates will be subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with US Department of Transportation regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe operation of buses on designated routes and occasional charters (80% of time).
- Perform bus washing and other non-driving related duties as needed (10% of time).
- Complete all paperwork associated with assignments accurately (5% of time).
- Attend safety meetings as occasionally scheduled (5% of time).

- Demonstrated safe driving record.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
