Overview
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, in partnership with the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, invites applications for the Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. The focus is on Pediatric Critical Care Medicine with expertise in caring for critically ill children.
Responsibilities
Teaching: Deliver formal didactic lectures and informal bedside teaching to medical students, residents, fellows, and healthcare professionals in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Participate in lectures, presentations, and multidisciplinary conferences.
Clinical: Provide clinical practice in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Philadelphia and/or King of Prussia campuses; additional practice in the Progressive Care Unit at the Philadelphia campus may occur. Primary practice is at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Research & Scholarship: Engage in collaborative research and mentor students, residents, and fellows in scholarly projects. A record of continuous scholarly productivity and national impact is expected.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold an M.D. or equivalent degree, have ABP certification, Pennsylvania licensure, and completion of fellowship training in pediatric critical care medicine. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
