What You’ll Do

  • Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding shipments, scheduling, and service updates
  • Enter and manage shipment details in our Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries
  • Resolve customer issues and troubleshoot problems promptly
  • Maintain accurate customer records and assist in quoting logistics services
  • Learn company services, pricing structures, and industry regulations
  • Identify potential sales opportunities and support the outside sales team
  • Participate in training and eventually shadow sales reps on client visits

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Customer service or logistics/transportation experience is a plus
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning logistics software (TMS, CRM, etc.)
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for future sales responsibilities
