Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is a premier custom refrigeration system company seeking a Traveling Service Technician to join our growing Service department. This role is crucial for providing repair, maintenance, and support for industrial refrigeration equipment for our valued customers in the food and beverage and refrigerated storage industries. Key Duties

  • Responsible for refrigeration repair and maintenance support to industrial accounts in food and beverage and refrigerated storage equipment ranging from 100 HP to 5,000 HP.
  • Perform routine and emergency service on ammonia and Freon refrigeration equipment commonly found in industrial applications.
  • Utilize working knowledge of screw and reciprocal compressors, electrical troubleshooting for common ammonia central systems, and control/alarm systems for inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Demonstrate an understanding and adherence to all work safety policies, procedures, and governing requirements.
  • Knowledge of controls and electric (high and low voltage).

Compensation & Schedule

  • Pay: $30-$60/hour, dependent on experience
  • Schedule: 10 days on 4 days off travel schedule (45-60 hours per week)

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED; HVAC tech school preferred.
  • Universal EPA certification.
  • RETA 1&2 certification preferred.
  • Motor alignment experience is a plus.
