Procurement Specialist at Innovation Federal Credit Union
We’re looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team. This position is part of the Third-Party Risk Management team and is responsible for various procurement activities and risk management tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer contracts, conduct due diligence, update policies and programs, and assist with contract negotiations.
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities including requisition intake, sourcing, purchase order execution, and contract administration.
- Conduct vendor sourcing activities including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, conditions, and service levels with suppliers for best‑value outcomes.
- Provide counsel, advice, and guidance to management, clients and third parties.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and support audits or reporting requests.
- Use digital solutions to streamline processes and enhance the member experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Risk, Finance, or related discipline.
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management in a regulated environment.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in negotiations and risk management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications including Excel, Teams, Viva, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Digital literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
