A Day in the Life

As a Software Development Engineer III (Backend), you will:

• Design and build scalable, secure, and reliable systems
• Create core features like data quality checks, metadata management, data lineage tracking, and privacy/compliance layers
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and healthcare experts
• Architect scalable data tools and frameworks
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership
• Drive innovation in privacy-by-design and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA)

What You Need

• 6+ years of experience and a start-up mentality
• Expertise in Python, Go, or Java with relevant web frameworks
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and containerization
• Experience with RDBMS & NoSQL databases like Postgres and MongoDB
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS or Azure) and queuing services (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering
