Private Equity Analyst

Role

As a Private Equity Analyst, you will support the team throughout the entire lifecycle of operations, providing analytical and research support for potential transactions and actively participating in the due diligence phase. There is potential for rapid growth and increased responsibility on operations.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Market Analysis: Analyzing sectors and market segments, market mapping, and evaluating market trends.
• Financial Analysis: Performing in-depth financial analysis on potential investments, including building LBO models, sensitivity analysis, and accurate data evaluation.
• Due Diligence: Drafting Information Memorandums, analyzing financial statements and other relevant documentation to identify risks and opportunities, collaborating closely with internal teams and external consultants.
• Support for Investment Committee Memoranda: Preparing internal memos and presentations for the investment committee, summarizing key findings and strategic recommendations.
• Origination: Supporting the identification and evaluation of new investment opportunities through market screening, secondary transaction analysis, and other sources.
• Execution: Assisting in deal structuring and transaction execution.
• Portfolio Monitoring: Supervising the performance and financial results of portfolio companies, supporting value creation initiatives (add-ons, refinancings, exit analysis), and proactively identifying Value Creation opportunities and risks.

Mandatory Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience at one of the following primary strategy consulting firms: McKinsey, Bain, BCG, OC&C, Roland Berger, or Kearney. Only candidates from these firms will be considered.
• Solid academic background from a top-tier institution, with a degree in Engineering (preferred), Economics, or Physics.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in an entrepreneurial environment.

• Excellent knowledge of accounting, corporate finance, and valuation methodologies.
• Advanced financial modeling and analysis skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Intellectual curiosity and the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic and high-intensity environment.
• Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to prioritize.
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
