About the Role: Data Annotator at Innodata Inc.
We are seeking detail-oriented and analytical professionals to join our team as AI Trainers – Data Annotators. This freelance/contract, project-based, remote role involves supporting the development of advanced AI systems by meticulously reviewing, labeling, and annotating diverse datasets. Your work will ensure high-quality training data for machine learning models, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about AI, machine learning, and data quality who thrive in structured, fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and annotate text, image, audio, or multimodal datasets.
- Label and categorize data according to detailed project guidelines.
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for quality, accuracy, and policy compliance.
- Identify inconsistencies and maintain high annotation standards.
- Provide structured feedback to improve AI model performance.
- Meet productivity and quality targets.
Requirements
- Strong English communication and comprehension skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to follow complex guidelines precisely.
- Comfortable working with diverse or sensitive content.
- Basic understanding of AI, machine learning, or data labeling (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not mandatory).
- Access to a private workspace and reliable internet connection.
Note: Candidates must clear two assessments: General English and Versant.
